I had read a similar post about this but I'm have not been able to apply it with any success to my problem. I created a short run of stairs that is only a couple of steps. When I create the run the arrow displays the direction as it should. But when I finish editing the stair displays the direction as down. The properties of the arrow has the display up arrow checked. The stiar in the 3d view is clearly going up from the start level to the finish level. When I go back in to edit the stair direction arrow displays correctly. Can someone help me understand where I went wrong? Thanks.

Which way was your stair created?  Hosted on the lower level and up or hosted on the upper level and down?

It looks like all I have is start level and top level. It doesn't have a parameter for hosting to the floor or anything from what I can see. Usually the icon shows in the ribbon if there's ability to host right? I don't seem to have that.
