I have nine students in my class who will be designing homes. I would like them to place their homes on lots in a subdivision so we can do a walk through and look at their homes from the street. Is there a pre-made piece of ground that I can download, subdivide, and place a road on?

Just fake one....Create a new site that is large enough and add points at various elevations. I would not make anything too severe. I probaby would just make the site flat.
