Hi!
I have six moths experience on using Revit Architecture 2012. Now I just can't figure out how to attach truss top to the roof if the footprint of the roof doesn't go all the way from one column to another. If the roof has the same width as truss there is no problem but then the roof lines are shown in the inside view. I have used trusses with horizontal top/bottom chord and then used " attach top to the roof" command.
In this problem case Revit gives me following error message:
"Revit can not attach to the chosen Roof/Slab. The truss can not project to a surface or the attachment creates an invalid profile."
Hope the picture attached clarifies the problem area.
If someone has an idea how to solve this, I would be more than happy to hear it!
Have a nice weekend.
