Hey

Are there any other Revit Cloud Rendering services out there?   I think the company I work for might not want to invest in

the monopoly Autodesk has in there Subscription services since the only benifits we use are the upgrades and Rendering

cloud services.  Their cloud services are pretty fast but limited to preset DPI setting and no preowned RPC Support.

So are there any other companys that make you install a plugin and use their servies for a fee?

Basically there arent any services that work as well as Autodesks Cloud Rendering service- definitely worth it to stay on subscription for that- as for the preset DPI settings- they are more than enough to create any size poster or even a large street sign- i know from experience... There is more than enough resolution for large formats.

I can now create 500 renderings within just a few hours compared to the "old days" where i would have to tie-up a computer for at least a week (if not more) and have less resolution than i get now in 10-15 minutes depending on the time of day.

Honestly if there is a company out there who can think of a reason why they shouldnt be on subscription (other than they dont have the cash or just hate this "monopoly Autodesk has") speak your mind and give me a reason.

Personally I can not wait until they start allowing us to work off of the cloud so i can stop buying a computer every two years- there are amazing advancements coming with the cloud... we can either jump on board or watch as we get trampled over.
