i am in the middle of creatting an entertainment center for plsma screen tv, and i wanted to know what would be the best way to do speakers.

Most likely you would use extruded components under the "Modeling" tab in Revit. Your question is quite general, and therefore I am responding in kind.

ok then would i then paint them with a fill patteren to make them more relistic?

you don't have to paint them, you can just assign material, under the accurender material setting. lot's of wood to choose from (if your speakers are wood)

I'd use a revolve for the cones etc and apply different materials to them. You could also show the speaker covers over them with a transparency mapping if this is what your after?

well whaty iwas going for was something a little more simplie, since i havent figured out how to ro a revolve, but i dont have any of the accurender materils because when i installed the program, the accurender render stuff didnt load cuz it was the download version and needed to be connteced to the internet and ihave dial-up so it would of taken awhile.
