not sure if this is the right place to post but. i have added materials to models and they show up fine, but for some reason the current model i am working on  the materials only appear in the edit model , once i close the edit model they , well you know , go away.

is something turned off to allow this, Thanks in advance.

your question is kinda vague. Could you provide some screen shots illustrating your issue?

Attached are 2 images 1 is with the materials dialog closed # 2 shows with the materials still in edit mode. Again once i close the dialog it appears as # 1

do you have elements that are on a previous phase?  If so set the view to show complete.

Yes that seems to have been it although I needed to set it to show complete in the filter. I guess it ll be a little tricky since we are refacing the counter ( existing ) with a new laminate
