How do you handle door hardware in the door properties box. I guess you need to put a key in "comments". Other ideas? Also, is there any way to have Revit report the door handing to the schedule?

to answer all your questions...add additional parameters to your door families. You can add a parameter called "handing" and another one called "lockset" and so on... Then in your project you can fill in these fields.

yes but you didn't expect to not have to do any work did you? :-) What we do is give doors a hardware group and just call out the hardware group in the comment. Hardware groups are specified in our specs.

Agreed on the hardware group in the comments. Any way to have the "hand" of the door reported?

as far as the door handing, it's probably best to set your doors up with an instance shared parameter.

I got this interior door http://caldwells.com/interior-doors/closet-doors at Caldwells hardware and door shop, you can check them as they also offers several door accesories and other home improvement needs.
