I am setting a dimension parameter and it is greyed out and in states report. never had this happen before anyone know what it may be.

It's a "Reporting Parameter"

Any reason why it is defaulting to that.  it is for a Height Pararmeter. all the others went in without any problem. i will not let me uncheck the box for reporting.

The family was built like that.  Did you build it?  Either way, you can edit the family.

The family was done by someone before and needed some to flex correctly.  should have just started from scratch.  i have been making alot of food service families and i am about burnt out, so i figured i would cut 1 corner and reuse a worktable and it cause me a minor hickup.
