I would like to order the project manager tree manually so I can put sheets in the order they need to print in. We use A's, C's, E's, etc as prefixes for our sheet numbers, but the c's come before the c's a,d the S's before the E's etc. No more hand sorting. Maybe just an option to turn off automatic sorting.

I know this is an old thread, but I came across it looking for a solution to the same problem in Revit 2010. The solution that I found was to create a Shared Parameter that I am calling "Discipline Index Number". You can then assign a number to each sheet based on discipline or type 01 for cover sheets, 02 for demolition, etc.). Then in the drawing index and browser, you can sort by Discipline Index first, then Sheet Number, and that should put all of your sheets in order.
