Every time I try to edit an element that requires a sketch mode (floor, openings, stairs) I have to:
select the item
click edite sketch (nothing happens)
minimize the panel to buttons (now i can draw, but have to use the buttons)
to exist i must minimize to titles, minimize once more
now I can complete the sketch.
...every time. Is anyone having this problem?

Sounds like a glitch.. have you tried to close out of Revit all together and reopen?

Yep. It is driving me nuts, but looks like I may get to skip 2012 all together. Just got 2013 today!
