Hi,

I know that there have been a number of threads about this kind of problem but so far I havent been able to make any use of them because of the large difference in user interface between revit 2012 and the older versions.

Every time I try to load a window I downloaded from RevitCity or even some of the original window models that came with the program it brings me the error message "The family is not of the correct category" and in some cases the window wont load at all even though I can open it as a sperate project.

Please help for I need this for my college project and its due soon, also please explian in detail for am new to Revit and still trying to learn what I can off it.

I atteched one of the orinigal windows that give me this problem.

Thanks.
