I have a relatively simple thing to model - an angled wall.  I created it using the mass/void tools, then made it a basic gyp wall.  I need to edit it and can't find the mass or void objects to do so.

Why can't revit do a simple angled wall without messing with these tools?

See attached.  Thanks for your help.

Is the shape in the attachment the shape that you are trying to acheive?  You wouldn't need to use a mass or void for that shape, just draw the wall and edit the profile of the wall.

I know how to edit the profile of the wall, but I don't seem to be able to change the plane of the wall.  This wall is can'ted forward.  Can you advise on how to do that?  I looked at some you tube videos on "how to do an angled wall" and they all pointed to the mass/void option.

Thanks for your reply.  I'm new to revit, but am an experienced sketchup modeler and i'm maddened by things like this.

Sorry from the attachment it looked like it was a straight wall.  This post has some good information on the correct way to acheive this.  Some things in Revit that seem like they should be super simple will give you a headache but once you get it down pat its great.
