Several methods are available.
- For sections, simply use edit cut profile to cut the wall layer back or extend it as needed. 2D solution Read: Changing the Cut Profile of Elements in your Help
- Edit the wall type to allow one or the other layer to be adjustible - 3D solution. Allowing Layer Extension
If you select the horizontal outer boundary at the top or bottom of a layer, you can specify whether that layer can be extended.
Select a horizontal boundary at the top of the wall, and a padlock displays. A locked padlock indicates that the selected layer cannot be extended. Click the padlock to unlock it, and the layer can be extended.
- If the wall and floor layer functionss are set up corectly and they may make the cutting for you. Read: Applying a Function to a Layer of a Compound Structure in your Help.
