is there a walk though that you can do though your building, or is there just the 3d view?

yes go to the view tab and click on walkthrough

walkthrough are very simple, create your path, don't worry too much about where your camera is pointing atm, remember every time you click to put a camera will be a key frame, that click on your path and you can edit your cameras, now you can control each camera, where it's pointing and field of view as well as height etc... have fun Smile

I would also recommend the on-line tutorials on this subject....they are easy to follow and show you all you need to know on the matter.....once you've tried it a few times, you can experiment with other tools/commands and come up with some interesting stuff....but definetly try the tutorials! thanks, hopefully for christmas i get a student version to use at home, so i can do even more expreimenting. becasue an hour a day for 5 days a week is just not enough time to learn and be familiar wit the tools in revit.

Can you explain how to make a walkthrough?  The computers I work on have RAC2009 installed incorrectly, so there are no help files in it.  And I can't find an online tutorial that actually explains it.  Any help?
