Has anyone managed to get a sloping slab or ramp of the same width as a floor slab to clean up / mitre at the intersection without resorting to creating other geometry to subtract / join to each? C

If they are both floors then just use join geometry and that should clean it up. If its a ramp then you won't be able to cleanup neatly as you cannot join anything to a ramp. Best result would be to place a floor slab edge where you want the slab/ramp to join to make them look as though they merge and then use the linework tool to remove excess linework. Otherwise its probably easiest with an in-place floor family. HTH.

Join geometry didn't clean - is a one off so was easiest to do in place floor family. Thanks Mr Spot

They need to be the same material for the linework to remove completely.
