hey

So im looking into get some training done.  I have been using the program for about 2 years now off and on.  But I have

never gotten the correct training.  Do I need correct Training on it?  Probably not.  I have figured out programs in the past

pretty fast but I want to learn the ins and outs the correct away and I dont want to keep looking up forums for questions

i have to I have should have learned.

So I have looked up

http://www.netwind.com/html/revit-architecture-2011.html

but the 2011 dvd has more than the 2012 dvd.  Odd.  I really dont want to learn a old program than the one we have at

firm.

http://www.infiniteskills.com/training/learning-revit-architecture-2012.html

http://www.infiniteskills.com/training/revit-architecture-2012-intermediate-to-advanced.html

Has anyone used the DVD above?   I might just get the bundle for $112 off of ebay but its either netwind or infinteskills.

-lynda.com doesnt have anything new

-digital tutors doesnt have anything for Revit.  I have used them for Maya and they are awesome until they went subsciption

           which was not cool.

-gnomon doesnt do Revit but they are awesome with maya and 3Ds Max.

Can you guys think of anything other DVD package that I could get or maybe magizines?  I dont think "3D world" has any

tutorals on Revit.   I was thinking of getting certification in 2012 but I hear its mostly just bragging rights. Im not looking

for something for my Resume for a new job.   I just want job security.

There are plenty out there. Even youtube has a lot. If you are into systematic learning, Mastering Autodesk Revit by Sybex is a good start. Some offer online sessions too, like Cadclips.com.

Hi jOker007-

Not sure if you're only interested in DVD or books, but Black Spectacles has excellent Revit Tutorials for $30 a month.  There is a really in-depth basic tools course, and 4 courses on families from beginner to advanced.

Best of Luck!
