I am trying to create Room Data Sheets by using a Room Tag (for the formatting of the data).

The Room Data Sheet needs to include data on elements within or entering the room such as furniture and doors. Is it possible to add this data into the Room Tag?

I do not want to go outside of Revit with a database and systems such as Codebook seem quiet expensive for the project that we are working on.

The other solution I can see is to combine schedules.

You can add any field you want to - to a room tag,.  But to be "smart", the tag must be able to read that data.  Otherwise, you will have to enter the values.  Room tags wiil not read what door or furniture is in the room.

We schedule our furniture with a furniture schedule filtered by room.  You could place that schedule over top of your room view on a sheet if that solves your problem.  But I would not do that.

Decided to go down the manual input of Room properties, as dynamicaly updating items within the room is not really needed, and some items, such as M&E, may not even be inserted into the model.

Thanks for the clarification that it can't been done.
