I have linked a civil 3D cad file into Revit and my building model is significantly smaller than it should be in comparison to the site. Any suggestions on where I can go from here? I am at a standstill and would be much appreciated!

It's probably the Units. Is it a SDSK file or DWG? First open the civil dwg in AutoCad use the dist command and check the size and units. Then when you link it into REVIT take note of the Units option. Also note the units of the REVIT project file before you import the civil file.
