OK, this may be a stupid question, but I can't figure it out, and I haven't found any solutions in previous posts here, so here goes. I have a series of hardened roofs with some flat and some sloping slightly. I used the floor slab option to get the metal deck profile to show up in section view, which works great on the flat portions. Does sloping the floor disable that profile display? See the attached screenshot for an example of where 1 section looks good, but the other sloped portion doesn't display the same. The concrete fill also doesn't display on the sloped section like it does on the flat portion.

And on a different but similar topic, The thickened wall separating the 2 roofs was done as a generic line-based model family. It's set to be able to host rebar, and the material is set to the same concrete material as the walls and roof slabs, but the concrete fill pattern won't display there either. Any ideas? I would like for all of the deck and concrete to display uniformly when cut in section. Thanks everybody for your help Smile

OK, the deck profile not showing up in section view appears to be due to that floor deck being set to the "existing" phase. Apparently Revit's applying some kind of override to the appearance with that set, although I don't see anything yet. Any ideas? I'd still like to show the existing deck....
