Hi guys

I've been using the information from this forum to create a new hatch pat based on the autocad pat file. I just copy the line command from the ACAD.pat and pasted it in a new Revit pat file. I changed the distance between the points and the angle to draw the hatch, but it is not showing like the dots hatch in AutoCAD, it is actually following a funny pattern instead.

I don't understand why it works differently in AutoCAD and Revit, apparently this happens only with the dots pattern. I tried with other patterns from the CAD file and they work perfectly.

See the text I included in the revit pat file:

DOTS, A series of dots;%TYPE=DRAFTING45, 0,0, .03125,.0625, 0,-.0625

Any help or advice will be appreciated.

Not sure how helpfull this will be, but I use a addin program called hatch 22. If you google it you will get it. I use it to create new hatch patterns and if works well. Might be an option or a tool for a later use if not applicable right now.
