Hi all,

I'm trying to create a baluster panel which has a panel offset from the rail 50mm. I'm doing this as an extrusion setting new reference planes from the slopes and hight planes which all work perfectly. The problem comes when i try to add a fillet arc to the corners ideally i want to make thm an adjustable parameter, all seems to work okay until i try to change the slope angle, Revit tells me that constraints are not satisfied. Why is this? surely whatever slope the angle is set to the fillet arc dimension should remain consistent without effecting the other lines. (I'm after approximately a 50mm fillet).

Has anyone else come across this problem and if so how did you solve it?

Still couldn't get it to work so used tangent end arc instead, this seems to work perfectly when locking the curve to to reference planes which i can then of course attach parameters to, with a bit of basic maths you can get the parameters to make the radius of the arc the exact size.

Pretty annoying that the obvious solution doesn't work but this is a relatively good and fast work around
