Any tips are greatly appreciated. I use revit all the time but understand that some of the questions can be trick when you dont have the program right in front of you.
Also do you usually recieve a certificate in print?
Thanks
Jonathan

eat a healthy breakfast, take your vitamins, wear clean underwear.... You'll do fine.
No certificate but your name is entered on autodesks website for associates, I suggest the professional exam as well. It is much more hands on.

There is a certificate when you pass. You get it through the autodesk.starttest site that you registered with. As for tips, just take your time and read each question carefully. They give you an hour and there are 30 multiple choice questions so there is more than enough time. There are no 'trick' questions so just think about the process logically. Good luck.

READ THE QUESTIONS! Try and remember what the tools & areas of the interface are called. There are 30 questions, you need 80% to pass. If you get time reread the Qs again & check your answers. Relax.
Good luck!

Thanks to all above. I found it relatively easy, a quick review of some of the major Revit concepts helpful.
I passed.

I know its a bit late for this post, but I just passed the 2012 Associates exam, so I thought this might help those who are preparing for it now:
- Know what toolbars are called what... i.e. "properties palette"
- Review the topics on Autodesk's website (www.autodesk.com/certifiation)
- Practice going through the steps for each of the items on the certification guide
- Understand what you can and cannot do with each of the topics
- The questions they ask are pretty simple, don't get caught up in knowing every single definition, restriction, etc.
Follow these simple guidelines and you should be in good shape.
