I have linked a file into an existing file to layout millwork. I am able to create interior elevations on the first floor of the model, but when I try to create elevations of the millwork on the second level, nothing shows up. Also, when I go to place the elevation tags on the second level, they show up on the first level, and I can see the elevation tags that were placed on the first level on the second level. I have been trying diffrent thigns with regard to view range, but it doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions?

I hav e feeling this is a work plane issue.  Are your plan views true views for the level or are they duplicated views with a change in view properties?  You should be creating your plan views from the ribbon - view / plan views tab and selecting your level.
