Another quick question.

For some reason, my windows don't show as cut in plan, but when I hover over them they do. Check out the pictures... Not sure why, any ideas?

Two things to look at:

1. The cut plane of your view vs where your window is.  Maybe the window is higher/lower than you thought.
2. Believe it or not.... The cut plane of the plan view in your window family will affect how it is shown.

I tried changing both cut planes, and still nothing.

It shows up fine in Wireframe mode, but not in Hidden Line mode.

You might have to post the window so we can see it.  Are you sure the window cuts the wall?

Here's the family.

And as far as I can tell, yes, it cuts the wall.

Even in the family it won't show up in Hidden Line though, so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Figured it out!

Turns out the window had the top frame piece set to show even when it is cut, so it was covering up the mullions and glass.

The problem is how the family is built.  I don't have time to explain it all but the upper elements are set to show in plan.
