Hi,

I'm working in 2010 Revit Architecture and one of my floor plans will not show the model lines correctly.  I'm wanting to show a hidden line for soffits above, etc, but when insterted as a model line or when I convert a drafting line to a model line the hidden line turns to a continuous line.  All other views this line shows correctly, it just this one floor plan.  I'm guessing it has something to do with the VG's of the actual floor plan view, but I cannot figure out what it is.  There are also no overrides to this particular line type within the view.

Please help.

Remember - model lines scale with the view.  So the spaces basically go away.   I don't believe these should ever be model lines!  For items above that you want to show, put an underlay plan that shows the items, use the linework tool to point to the soffits setting them to overhead, then remove the underlay.

I do prefer the linework tool to show soffits above but for this project we are using model lines.

The lines scale with the view, but for some reason on this floor plan the model line scale is not working.  The scale is set to 1/8" on all the floor plan views, but on the 2nd floor they are showing continuous.  When inserted as a drafting line the hidden line shows, but when it's a model line changes to continous.  Like I stated before the are no overides on the line type.  Is there a place to veiw what the model line properties are?
