Hi, I know this is a really basic question, but let's say I have 2 wide flange beams 40' apart - one is ten feet higher than the other and I want to span a joist from one to the other.  I want the joist to be connected to the beams so that if the beams should move or change, the joists change with it.

3d snapping should work.  why not try it (in a separate test-file if you must.)
