Hi all,
I'm relatively new to revit so this may be a silly question but does anyone know if it's possible to edit a revit family (fluorescent lighting fixture) to make it narrower?
Thanks in advance.

naturally, and you can even create your own! Just 'edit family' and then make the required amendments - then save it as a new family of your own... try it! If you get stuck, post your specific problem...

Hi Sven,
Thanks for your help. I've managed to get that far before but I tend to find that it doesn't let me edit it properly. I can change the size/scale of some things but not the entire object. To be more specific i'm trying to essentially cut a 2x4 parabolic troffer light in half so that it becomes 300mm wide rather than 600mm. Any suggestions?
Thanks
