If I understand correctly, you are looking to make a ramp of a certain shape, which has a wall which is a certain height, etc.  I only have two methods, 1, the way you are doing the ramp, placing a wall, attaching its base to the ramp, then modifying its profile to match the ramp.  The second way, do the same thing for the wall, attaching base to ramp, then copy ramp and move it up until the bottom of the ramp is at the point you want the top of the wall to be, then attach the top of the wall to the bottom of the copied ramp.  Create a workset called hidden, or something of that intent, and make it not visible by default.  P.S.- I might be wrong on the ramp moving up, it might have to be floor, I'm not 100% sure the wall will attach to the ramp.  Anyway, I always thought the Ramp tool was garbage, I just used sloped floors anyway...
