Hi there,

I downloaded a column from RevitCity, and then adapted its aesthetics to how I wanted it, and now it will not load into my project. I've tried loading it into new projects too but no luck. It comes up with a 'type' error.

I spent hrs making this thing (and now realise I should have tested it loading before finishing making it) - if anyone can assist with helping this load, I would very muhc appreciate it!

I took that family and tried to beat some sense into it, but I've been beaten.  It's extremly screwed up, somehow, I can tell you that.  I think a large part of the problem is that there are several "types" that it is trying to make with a bunch of parameters still in the family, and I cannot remove the column types, or the parameters they use.  And I cannot find any geometry that relies on the parameters.  

They're like ghosts of the old family.  I know there are gurus on here who could figure it out, but it's going to be a time commitment for them, regardless. 

I would start with a fresh family template.  You never know what you're getting with a download from here.
