I do the bulk of my conceptual modeling in Sketchup Pro just because I'm more efficient in it than I am in Revit, but now that I am ready to start modeling in Revit 2011, I'm having an annoying problem. I've got a curtain wall that I would really like to model inside of Revit from my original Sketchup model, however I can't just bring it in and use it because the actual surface is not a true surface inside of Skechup. I had to triangulate multiple rectangles and hide the diagonal to give it the illusion of a planar surface. What I was going to try to do was bring the bounding lines into Revit and create a surface by picking the lines of the dwg. Then I was going to model a curtain wall by picking the surface; however, since none of the lines fall in the same plane, picking a reference plane to use while creating the surface is impossible. Does anyone have any tips on how I could do this. I attached some photos from both Sketchup and Revit to give some visual cues as to what I'm trying to do.

I don't know why the second visual didn't come along for the ride, but here it is.
