I have two projects that are a lot alike.  In fact, the second one is a copy of the first at around the 25% design level.  From here on out, they are two separate projects. However, many of the things done to one model will be done in the other. The second model (the copy) is going to morph into something larger and have different wall types. I'm electrical myself, and working on both projects simultaneously while there is at least one architect working on each model at the same time. In total, we have 4 central files so far. We have architectural, structural, and electrical design and some then mechanical for graphics purposes.

What are some of your guys’ thoughts on ways to minimize the duplicate work, if there is a way?  Would you use two Revit sessions or one with both projects open? Is there any way to get copy-paste to work between two Revit sessions?  I want these two projects to look as close to each other presentation-wise as possible.  Any details, enlarged plans or sections will be attempted to be duplicated in approximately the same manner.

Thank you
