Revit 2011 Hi, I have moderate experience with V Templates, but can't figure out an issue. On level 1, when I apply the default revit "site plan" template, topography and other misc items show up, when for some reason if I toggle 'detail level' from coarse to medium or fine, my walls remain coarse, but in the template, detail level for walls is "by view". Likewise, if I apply the default 'architectural plan' template, topography turns off... but its checked on in the View Template! and when I go to Visibility Graphics topography is turned on in the view. Why??? There are no elements hidden in view, phases, or anything convoluted. This is a simple house floor plan with View Template problems I've never seen. Ideas?

note: solved the topography problem (view range - I'm an idiot), but I still don't understand why the wall detail level cannot be changed.
