Does anybody have a good Revit to Sketchup workflow that allows for quick edits in Revit without having to reapply many many textures in Sketchup each time you import?

I just exported my revit 2011 model as a .fbx and imported that into max 2011 then saved it as a .3ds then imported it into sketchup 8 as a 3ds and the materials stayed the same.

@Tom:

I don't have 3Dmax on my home machine, but I exported Revit to a fbx, and then with an fbx plugin demo was able to bring it to Sketch with all materials intact! Just as you said.  It took 20 minutes (It's a 30 mb Rev File), and I deleted the topo first just because I was convinced it would not export it.

There are flaws, but fundamentally it works.  It was almost startling.

There is a road.  Thank you for pointing it out.

Sam

great news.

im continually impressed with the mulittude of ways you can achieve anything in revit.  it has become quite a competition in my architecture studio at uni.
