We're finally going to move to the next level of using Revit in our work with the first trial of using ADB alongside/in our models on a live project...

But, because our ADB guy is very much a "I want to do this once, and once only" kind of guy (a man very much after my own heart) - he's been asking me some questions in his forward-planning that have me a little stumped.

I know how to personalise a template - that much is easy (simply change the file extension to .rfa, edit, then change back to .rte for those who don't) - but our issue is populating each template type with over 30+shared parameters. Ideally, we don't do it manually for each one. I've only seen v.old threads on the subject, and have tried to use "transfer project standards" between two families, but to no avail.

 So I guess the question is, has this function still not be introduced to 2010?

(We have 2011 but want to build our families in 2010 for our existing projects.)
