Does anyone know why Autodesk took the old massing tools out and replaced it with the junk in Revit 2011? I'm losing my faith with Autodesk and Revit. It was fine just the way it was in 2010. Remember the old saying "Don't reinvent the wheel"

Autodesk didn't removed anything, if you want to create a "Mass" look at your ribbon, you will see "Massing and site", here you can create Masses, if you want the OLD "In-Place" go to "Home > Component > Model In-Place"

hi friends i am using revit 2009 can any 1 please tell me is it possible to do good massing work in it?????or i need 2010 only?

You can create mass in any version of Revit but the tools were significantly improved in 2011.... May have been 2010.

right now i am learning on 2009 .....so will it possible for me to learn advanced massing on 2011 on myself or again i have to join classes for 2011 please tell me.
