Hi everyone, I am finishing up with a project, however I am uncertain as to whether I require a building pad for my building to run in ecotect. And also, how do I make my building compatible with Ecotect, I wish I asked this sooner. Whenever I import it into ecotect, there are too many families to select and my building does not turn up as neat as it does with other buildings, that are already in there. Please help me, I have attached an example of my building, and I need to know why my building is sunken under the topo surface as well as my building pad filled with grey instead of the grass around it. Thank you guys so much. Yours, Koreanism Happy Chinese New Year Btw!

The ground surface that you are using looks flat, you need to raise your building up out of the ground for drainage reasons to start. You could put a pad under the entire building set so the top is just below your slab. You can change the material of the ground and set it to grass, and you can make regions of differing materials. If the ground surface is set to existing I think it will be grey, everything that is existing is grey. Haven't used ECOTECT yet. Good luck.
