I just can't make a Two Cut - Square rafter cut on a roof! Is this another bug on Revit 2010? It seems like a Two Cut - Square rafter cut only works on simple roofs but when the roof has many jogs and becomes a bit more complicated in its shape, the Two Cut - Square rafter cut option becomes impossible.

Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

First thought is ensure all your eaves are aligned. Use the Align Eaves tool inside of the roof sketch first. I usually find that this error occurs when an eave is off by a fraction of an inch at a corner. Simplification fo the roof may be in order?

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line!

Yes, I mean like that detail you are showing.

I tried to align the roof and you are right, there is a fraction of an inch of diference on one of the eaves. I am now trying to see how to make it all the same height using this align eaves command. So far I didn't realize how this works. Maybe you are right and this is the way to solve it... Thank you for your tip.
