Use Viz or Max. Revit 8.1 will export to DWG with materials. See Viz or Max help files. Tom

No "plug-ins" in the Revit world. If you modeled your building correctly all the material meta-data simply goes into Viz2006 from Revit via the DWG export process. Be sure you export out of Revit from a 3D view at full size. Link the model into Viz and in Viz you will need to remap the materials of the Revit model to Viz materials. The DWG knows that a certain layer is defined to have a material "Brick - red", but then you need to tell Viz what map to use for Brick-red. Any material scaling problems are a problems inside of Viz not related to Revit. Tom
