Hi,

We are having a problem exporting files to DWG, everything is okay except the Dimensions. For a sheet exported with two Views, the dimensions appear to have different fonts. One Arial which is fine, but the other just displays a simplex txt. The txt text is cluttered and unreadable. Is this a glitch or are we doing something wrong??

Thanks

Are all the fonts in your revit file the same across all dimensions? Are you using multiple dimension types in Revit? Annotations is something I've never seen translate correctly to DWG from Revit, but some claim they do it on a regular basis with 0 problems.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in asia, but only slightly less well known is this! Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line!

We use Arial as an office standard across the board. We use multiple dimension styles too but the all print fine in DWF PDF and from Revit. Even when we export using Xrefs they dont display correctly, but when you open the xref file it all looks fine. Weird!!

Problem solved. Well kind of a work around. When we exported the files we saved them as AutoCad 2000 files. this fixed the problem to an extent, but when you resave the DWG file as 2004,2007,2010 the problem reoccurs.
