I've been following this tutorial on importing a Revit created .FBX into 3D Studio and rendering with Mental Ray. Everything looks really good except for the fact that none of my interior lights will render. I turned them each on manually, have replaced the lights with IES lights, and even created new lights in Max with no results. Is there a global setting that says "render lights?" The daylight system that imported from Revit works fine, as well as the mental ray sky portals that I created. If anybody can shed some light, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

you are probably rendering a daytime scene in which case you need to increase the power of the lights. or else render a nighttime scene and modify your exposure value.

a trick i have learned after a few renderings is to set you lighting scheme inside of revit.  daylight to interior with sun and artificial lights on.  this saves time when having to turn on all the lights in max.(u can also use the light lister in max to save time)  .  if you continue to have lighting issues, try setting your light to uses lumes properties  instead of watts....this tends to jelp out with the conversion proccess from revit to max
