We currently use a wall tag for our curtain walls that looks the same as our window tag.  The problem is when we go to tag all not tagged it tags all the walls not just the curtain walls.  So because we have many different wall types we cannot easily select all by type and just delete the extranious ones.  I hope this is on the wish list for 2011 or is there another way to delete all the extra tags rather than just tagging individually.

Would it work for you to tag in several steps? Select all type 1, tag all selected. Select all type 2, tag selected, etc. It doesn't get everything at once, but you won't be tagging individually.

You cant annotate after you have selected all that type, it cancels the preselcted once you go to annotate.

Simply temporarily isolate the curtain walls (sun glasses), then tag all not tagged.  Only what is visible will tag.

That's strange that it's deselecting when you switch tabs. It wasn't doing that for me.

Uh wait how do i Simply isolate the curtain walls from the other walls using the sun glasses? If isolate category it keeps all the walls including Curtain Walls.  Cant Isolate Element that would defeat the purpose. Still not sure how to do it.

Try picking a curtain wall, then SA.  That should get you all walls of the same type.
