Hi to all,

I was wondering if anyone knew if it were possible to bring into Revit's material library some external materials/shaders.  I'm crossing over to Revit from ArchiCAD where this process was quite simple.  I've got more than $500 of Arroway textures that I want to piut into Revit and render out with the Mental Ray - but as yet I've not found out how to import them.

I'm guessing that once loaded, it would be relatively easy to make up the elements with luminance / bump maps / etc.; it's just getting them there that the issue for me!

Many thanks in advance.

Andy

"I'm crossing over to Revit from ArchiCAD where this process was quite simple" - in Revit is quite simple too, just go to Materials duplicate a Default material then in Render Appearence you can load the texture (image) you want, difuse, bump....

Thanks Typhoon,  sounds simple enough; I'll give it a go now!
