I made this bridge cables and then I tried to load it into my project .i had both opened and said ;load into proj' then it crushed.. should i have taken any settings before loading?or why is it like this?:S this is getting really annoying as I thought this program would be more helpful

Ok, this bridge is HUGE... enormous, gigantic, massive.... Please note that the mass in metric comes in METERS... not milimeters. ( to change that press UN) I add a mass just next to your bridge... thats 50 meters heigth. >_> You will have to re-do it anyway. Try to do the cable with an adaptive component, and the main skeleton of the bridge ( like guidelines) to add the adaptive component on.

sorry I just realised I was drawing it in m instead of mm.. i redid it and its great now, it works fine. thanks for telling me Unfortunately I cant open the file..it sais it was saved in later version of revit and cant be retrieved on mine. I just did the bottom as floor element and then added the cables with mass family

duh, upgrade to 2011, it have nice features to make this kind of stuff, like the adaptive component, Look on the forums, and on youtube for it, its really cool
