Hi there

I have drawn a beam system that is inclined (they are the rafters to the roof of my building). On plan view i can't get them to cut at the cut plain of the plan. they either show the entire length (even way over my cut line) or if the cut line in too low they do not show up in the plan atall. I also have a few mebers (the hips of the roof) that i drew as inclined columns. these do behave correctly with the cut plane. Wondering if anyone else has had this problem? any suggestions of solutions? If I could identify something Can i change someting in the fraiming family so that it works with cut planes the same as columns do?

The beam I have drawn is a 'structural beam' so should be 'cutable'. Am i right in thinking that a beam will only show as cut on a plan when in 'fine' or 'medium' graphical style?
