Hi, I’ve created a load of in place masses to represent buildings around Revit model. I’ve move and rotated the in place masses into the correct position. But strangely, when I click on them and select ‘Edit In-Place’ they immediately flip around to another seemingly arbitrary rotation, and when I select finish they flip back. Why is this happening, I need to change the mass shape by tracing some lines, but can’t do this when they rotate themselves. Cheers.

I have had this problem as well - it seems to be because you moved and/or rotated it after you finished editing it. When you open-edit the mass it reverts to the original orientation. It will probably be easier to make a new mass with the proper orientation and once you've finished it don't rotate it outside of edit mode.

Thanks for your reply. This is actually really annoying, if your've editted your model some as redoing it takes time. It seems like a bug to me. Cheers.
