Hello

I am having a problem when it comes to printing a PDF of a sheet. The problem is that it wont print to scale, it will always show the printable area as 96%. How can I change the printer limits to show 100%. This is not the case when I print on the plotter, the drawings print to scale. Has anyone eles had problems with PDF's not printing to scale?

Thanks, Ed

I assume you've checked the obvious in the Revit print settings and haven't got it set to "Fit To Page" and instead have it set to print to 100%?

If this isn't the cause, what PDF writer are you using as its clearly bodgy?

Thanks for the quick response.

I have checked all the settings and and they are the same as when I send it to the plotter. The problem is when I try to print from the PDF it shows the printable area as 96% of the sheet size.

You don't really say what your printer settings are.  Are you using offset from corner or center plot?

CutePDF is free and works.

Thanks Mr. Spot for the help.

After checking every combination I was able to print to scale. I had to uncheck the pick PDF paper size and go into the properties and pick the ANSI paper size. The settings than showed 100%.

Thanks, Ed
