Is it possible to add railing to an existing stair or ramp?  If I attempt to do so, the new railing will turn out flat, not sloped with the ramp or stair.  I've learned not to delete the automatic railing that comes with a newly created stair unless I'm absolutely sure I won't need it later because it is such a pain to redo the whole stair just to get the railing.

Its possible to add a railing to a stairs, if you delete te default railing. Click on the railing tool, draw your railiing line and click on the host button on the project browser and then click on your existing stair. It will automatically adjust to the slope or riser.

Just one thing "...click on the host button on the project browser..." NOT in Project Browser but on RIBBON (top menu/right)

Thanks, that will save me a lot of time in the future.  I noticed that you need to be careful that the railing is not placed on the outer edge of the stair or it will not catch the slope.  It needs to be placed just inside of the stair just like new railing would be automatically placed.

That's true, but remember that you can offset the railing so that it appears outside of the stair.

Thanks for the help!
