Is it possible to print a view with a specific object hidden? Not by adjusting visibility of object types.

Only if you've setup a subcategory for that specific element in object styles or a special workset.

This was killing me too.  I had several level heads that were so close together that I wanted to hide some of them and not print.  But I couldn't assign them subcategories as Mr. Spot mentioned.  But if you click on the actual line of the level (not a handle, text, or the datum symbol), then you can right-click to get the context menu, and select "Hide Annotation in View".  When you hover over the hidden level it will highlight but will be invisible!  This is one of those "DUH" features that makes me want to hit myself with a hammer for not seeing it earlier.
