Hi I have a house with front and rear decks and I want to group them together in my area schedule as simply "External" space rather than having 2 lines saying "Rear External" and "Front External". Is this possible?

I don't think you can combine the two areas but you can form sub totals in the schedule and add the two up.

It's not that you can't combine them on the schedule...that is easy to, just give them an identical property and sort by it.

The problem is that you will  get a blank space on your schedule for any field that is different between them like an area name or number, or the area value itself. The are value can be filled in by simply making it a calcualted value, but the name or number would have to be the same for anything to populate in that filed.

See the attached image, the schedules the same, but the bottom has the two exterior areas combined into one row.
