hello guys, im just new here, anyway just want to ask how to make a window family, aside from the existing family that included in revit,i want to start from Metric Window.rft, well just want to ask how to make also the details, like data for materials and finishes and identity datas... thank you looking forward...

Download the families guide from autodesk - that will give you lots of family building advice. BTW, the last time I looked, only earlier versions of this were available but that's ok because they are still valid.

check for "mastering revit architecture", it really worht it. Btw, its just me or the chat is disabled, and the date of the site has suffer a rollback?

Too many. In my opinion the 'Mastering' title has been over used and starting to become somewhat diluted. They need to start coming up with a different tag line.
